High Striker is perfect for beginners and group settings because every segment on the dartboard offers scoring opportunities.

High Striker is a great choice for casual play, and mixed-ability, social gatherings.

Objective

High Striker is the ideal intro to FLYBY darts, where players must outscore the previous player to avoid losing lives.

Each player starts with three lives, and the goal is to remain in the game by consistently achieving higher scores. The last player with lives remaining wins.

FLYBY Darts technology streamlines the game with automated scoring and a fun visual element to represent players' remaining lives.

Scoring

High Striker uses standard dart scoring.

• Each player throws 3 darts per turn
• Board sections score from 1 to 20
• Outer ring = double score, inner ring = treble score
• Bullseye = 50 points; outer bull = 25 points
• Add up the total from all 3 darts

Rounds

The game is played in sequential rounds, with each player throwing three darts per turn.

Players must aim to outscore the immediately previous player. FLYBY automatically calculates and displays the score for each round.

Lives

• Representation: Each life is represented by a muscular arm. Each time a player fails to outscore the previous player, the animation shows them losing that arm, symbolising diminishing strength.
• Losing Lives: Players lose one life for failing to outscore the previous player. The number of remaining lives and the arm animation are displayed by FLYBY.
• Eliminations: Players are eliminated from the game when they lose all their lives. FLYBY updates the game status to reflect these eliminations.

Winning the Game

The game continues until only one player remains with lives.

The last player standing is declared the winner.

Additional Rules

• Score Tracking: FLYBY tracks and displays each player's score, lives remaining, and turn order in real time.
• Missed Turns: Players who fail to take their turn lose one life for that round.
• Fouls: Standard darts rules apply. Darts landing outside the valid scoring segments do not contribute to the score.
